Coronavirus Restrictions
Coronavirus restrictions are imposed on everyone including business, government and private sectors.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that Malaysia’s tourism industry lost RM3.37 billion within the first two months of the year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many industries like the tourism industry have faced high amounts of loss during these trying times.
If you are a business owner, you might have faced loss and employment issues. The pandemic and movement restriction order has affected our daily lives and put a stop to our business running normally.
With the decreasing number of cases and people finally allowed to move around, business is allowed to operate as well. If that is not great news!
So, in the next few weeks, you might be preparing to re-open the business you closed a few months ago but there are still restrictions and rules to follow if you want to run your business again.
Here are some precautions Government is implementing that have to be adhered by everyone:
Disinfecting of Office or Business Areas Before Opening for Business
Obviously before entering your workplace or starting to operate, you will need to disinfect the whole place. This is particularly because you might not know what and who has been there and ensure that the place is safe for you to start working. Make sure all areas, furniture, touch surfaces are all cleaned and disinfected. Make sure even after opening your business, that you have a regular cleaning routine to ensure your place is always virus free.
Coronavirus Safety SOP
SOP is something being heavily emphasised by our government. Before re-opening, make sure you have a clear SOP and safety guidelines for yourself and your employees to follow. Anyone who has experienced contact with one of the Covid-19 patients should be quarantined and checked before returning to work. Any employees who feel sick or showcase the symptoms of Covid-19, should be immediately sent home to not risk others as well. Hence, measures like taking body temperature and analysing symptoms before entering the workplace is mandatory.
Practising Social Distancing
Even though we are allowed to operate our business, we just always maintain social distancing as it is a crucial part of making sure the virus does not spread anymore. In the workplace, use acrylic table dividers to make sure you practice social distance among your co-workers.
If you are in the F&B industry, acrylic table dividers are extremely helpful to make sure your customers socially distance when they dine. Make sure you encourage delivery if you are running an F & B business.
For all businesses alike, make sure when you have a cashier, they are not touching the customer when they receive payment. Markers on the floor for 1 metre distance for line up for take away and payment should be made.
If you are looking to buy an acrylic table divider, you don’t have to search anymore. We sell table dividers for the most affordable price. Our table separators are made from transparent acrylic material and have a standard size of 4ft x 4ft per set. Open for pre-orders and delivery in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor areas now.
